This position reports to the SVP of Revenue Cycle Management. What you’ll do: Request Initial and Continuing Prior Authorizations for patient’s as per the insurance companies guidelines Help answer billing and insurance questions and phone calls from the internal staff, patients, and insurance companies Track current authorizations so we do not miss resubmitting for a new authorization, as well as alerting providers when patients are getting near the end of their authorization Help with month end billing submission and reconciliation work Help Create and maintain prior authorization workflows
